Field of use

Used as an oxidizer in different chemical processes, in particular for decontamination of cyanide containing sewage water in gold mining industry and off-gasses.

Note: Annual decrease of active chlorine content up to 8% relative is allowed.

Storage conditions: Store calcium hypochlorite in original tare in stacks in unheated, well ventilated, protected from atmospheric precipitations and direct sunlight premises. Drums should be stored vertically. Max height of stack: 3 tiers. Max width of stacks: 2 m. A passage min 1 m should be between the stacks. Four tier stacking of tare with product is allowed on consumer’s agreement.

Packing: steel zinc-coated drums, thin-walled steel drums, steel rolled up barrels, polyethylene barrels. Steel drums and barrels should have polyethylene liners. Other packing ensuring product quality, safety is allowed on consumer’s agreement.

Shipping: all types of transport except air shipment.

Classification code of hazardous cargo group: according to GOST 19433 -  5112; in case of railway shipment - 5112.
