Main applications:

  • Feedstock for hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC-22) applied like refrigeration fluid in grocery stores, refrigerated transports, cold storage warehouses and for the production of fluorinated polymers (tetrafluoroethylene/TFE, fluorinated ethylene-propylene/FEP).
  • Extraction solvent for pharmaceuticals (antibiotics, hormones, vitamins, etc.).

Other applications:

  • Solvent in analytical laboratories.
