New joint ventures were established:

  • With participation of the government of Moscow - JSC Percarbonate producing sodium percarbonate.
  • Jointly with the Hungarian firm Abona – Pronova Ltd on diphenylguanidine production.
  • With participation of the firm Dupont (USA) - JV Dupont-Khimprom Ltd manufacturing herbicides for agriculture.
  • JV Cation Ltd with Pumice Trading Corp. Ltd (UK) on production of dyes for synthetic fibers.

September 2000 – On the results of the competition common stocks package of JSC Khimprom, former property of the Chuvash Republic , was handed over to Volzhskaya Investment Company as trust stocks.

2001-2002 – Implementation of investment projects was carried out: reconstruction of waste incinerator, acetonanil-N production, development of semi-conductor trichlorosilane production.

2002 - The agreement on social-economic collaboration was signed between the management of Khimprom and the government of the Chuvash Republic .

2003-2004 - Projects on energy saving were implemented. The plant's own boiler shop for steam production was commissioned. New productions were developed, the existing ones were reconstructed.
